10-Week Lindy Hop Course at Curzon Centre - September 2024 & End of Term Hop!

Description

Learn to Lindy Hop - the grand-daddy of all the Swing dances!
Have fun, get fit and learn to dance! Taught by Simon Selmon, bringing over 40 years of experience learning from many original masters of the dance.

Dates (details below):
Tuesday's 10 September - 12 November 2024 - 10-week course
Tuesday 26 November - End of Term Hop - social night

7.15pm- Doors open
7.30pm - Beginners Lindy Hop Class - Learn the fundamentals & classic moves as well as technique and styling. No experience needed or partner required.
8.30pm - Social Dancing - practice what you've learned!
8.50pm - Intermediate Lindy Hop class - Learn new variations, techniques & stylings! We recommend you are comfortable with all the beginners class material.

Free tea, coffee & squash on us (Please bring a reusable cup!)

Curzon Centre, 43 Maxwell Rd, Beaconsfield, HP9 1RG - Free car park.
8 minute walk from Beaconsfield Station to the Curzon Centre

Tickets: £69 for 10 week course (includes both classes & dancing!) 
Drop-in £10 cash on the night

End of Term Hop! - Tuesday 26 November 2024

Swing Dance Social night! From 7.15pm

30 minute taster dance class to kick off the evening then DJ music from the 30s, 40s & 50s plus more to Swing your thing to from Simon and guests!

Cake Bake-Off Competition - the most fun, music/dance related or unusual designed cake wins a prize!

Free tea, coffee & squash on us but bring your own drinks & nibbles!
